Description

If you write a document with acronyms it frequently happens that you don't want a list of acronyms, e.g. an article.
It would be great to have hyperlinks to the first occurrence of an acronym.

There used to be a complex solution to this here: % link acronyms to first occurrence from: https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/140666/glossaries-hyperlink-to-first-entry-not-list-of-acronyms

This isn't working anymore since version 4.50.

It would be great to implement this standard feature into glossaries or glossaries-extra. A keyword to activate this might \linkfirst or \linkfirstoccurrence
