I’m currently working on a major new version of the datatool package. This may take a while. Please be patient. (Experimental version available for testing.)

Summary Improve polyglossia support

Description

As of v1.45, polyglossia (at long last) provides access to language variants (\languagevariant, \mainlanguagevariant) and also reports corresponding babel names via \babelname and \mainbabelname as well as the \xpg@bloaded list (since as with babel \babelname includes script variants it is often more useful than variant).

See particularly sec. 11 of the polyglossia manual.

This might be useful to improve polyglossia support in tracklang.
