I’m currently working on a major new version of the datatool package. This may take a while. Please be patient. (Experimental version available for testing.)

Description

Hello Nicola,

The package option `automake` isn't documented in the manual (any more?). In v1.04 I can only find it in the index (last entry on page 86).

Best regards, Stefan

The glossaries-extra manual only describes modified options or new options that aren't available with just glossaries.sty. The automake option is unchanged by glossaries-extra.sty so it's not listed. It would be redundant to repeat all the information that's already provided in the glossaries user manual, and it would make it harder to see what's provided by glossaries-extra.sty if it's mixed up with the glossaries.sty information.

Ok, but than also there shouldn't be an index entry of `automake` either, right?

Although automake doesn't need describing as a new or modified option, it's briefly referenced in relation to the command \GlsXtrNoGlsWarningAutoMake. However, it does seem that the index reference is out by one page (it should refer to page 81, not page 80). The documentation may have needed an extra LaTeX run before calling makeindex. I'll look into the build process. (I'm away at the moment and won't be able to check it until I return.)
