Description

Predefined macros can do YY, but own date formats can't. Something like THEDECADE would be great. (Maybe also THECENTURY while we are here?)

Evaluation

datetime.sty has now been made obsolete but it has been replaced by datetime2.sty which now has commands for obtaining the final two digits of the year (\DTMtwodigits{2015} -> 15), the century (\DTMcentury{2015} -> 21) and year/100 (\DTMdivhundred{2015} -> 20).
