Description

glossaries package has a conflict with xtab as it loads supertabular which defines same commands as xtab.

Evaluation

Use package option nosuper to prevent supertabular from being loaded.

Update 2022-10-19: glossaries v4.50 now automatically implements nosuper if xtab has been loaded. Make sure that when you update glossaries you also update to mfirstuc v2.08 and glossaries-extra v1.49.

OK, thanks. But couldn't it be automatically done behind the scene by glossaries?
