Description

In order to address issues with UTF-8 characters occurring at the start of \makefirstuc, the underlying code needs to be rewritten using new LaTeX3 commands.

Evaluation

Fixed in v2.08. If you also use glossaries, make sure you update to glossaries v4.50 as well. If you use glossaries-extra, you will also need to update to glossaries-extra v1.49, and if you use bib2gls, you will also need to update to bib2gls v3.0.
