Shipping costs and available options are dependent on the total weight and delivery destination. Once you have placed your order, you can't change the delivery destination, so please be sure to enter the delivery details correctly. The shipping costs are periodically updated in line with Royal Mail and Hermes price changes.
Items that are in stock will be despatched the next working day, (although they may be dispatched sooner if the order is processed while the Post Office or ParcelShop is still open).
The package Tare weight is 170g for small parcels below 2kg, except for "Into the Lion's Den" which has slightly lighter Tare weight. (Weights are approximate.) The maximum shipping weight is 2kg for Royal Mail and 15kg for Hermes. Orders over the maximum weight will be shipped in multiple packages.
If you are outside the UK, it will typically be considerably cheaper (and more environmentally friendly) to order titles published by Dickimaw Books from an online book store within your region as Lightning Source (who print and distribute those titles) have global distribution centres. Please make yourself aware of any import taxes and regulations for the shipping destination. Books are designated as "printed papers".
"Into the Lion's Den" is shipped separately from all other books as it's shipped directly from the author Stephen Talbot rather than from Dickimaw Books. (You can use the inscription service for that book.) Note that "Into the Lion's Den" isn't published by Dickimaw Books and isn't available through Lightning Source's global distribution channels. You may find it cheaper to order "Into the Lion's Den" directly from Stephen Talbot.
Shipping to UK AddressesThe options for shipment to UK addresses are: Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For (ships normally within 1 to 3 working days) or Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For (ships normally within 3 to 5 working days) or Evri Standard. Evri UK delivery excludes the Channel Islands, PO Boxes and BFPO.
Shipping to Overseas AddressesThe options for shipment to addresses outside the UK are: Royal Mail International Tracked, Royal Mail International Signed & Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed.
You can find out which countries are covered by these options on the Royal Mail website. The addressee must be a private individual not a company or organisation.
